Design Notes: There was a lot of information to organize for each whisky on only two facing 5″ x 8″ pages. Borderless tables were used in the Basic Information section and the Whispering section. Another table with only bottom lines provides space for readers to write their own tasting notes; times 60. So that’s 60 photos and 180 tables altogether. The numbering is part of the heading style making it easy to re-sort and auto-renumber the entries. The opposing page headers show chapter heading and whisky heading.
Cool fact I learned: If the country has an E in its name, the drink is spelled whiskey, e.g., whiskey from Ireland. If the country does not have an E, it’s whisky, e.g. whisky from Scotland.
